edgearch received special mention for Destination X project at KAEC
It is our great pleasure to inform that edgearch it’s been selecter by AMP Architecture Masterprize Jury as an Honorable Mention for the 2020 edition in the category Landscape Architecture.
The awarded project Destination X has been developed by edgearch team for REOM at King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in 2019.
The aim of the project is to re-use the pre-existent concrete structure of an un-built development of KAEC to design a new landscape architecture concept able to generate a public space for King Abdullah Economic City inhabitants with services and attractions for the public.
In the site area the columns follows an organic movement, growing up and down, dividing the softscape and generating visual connections.
The selected project it is been selected as Honorable Mention for the Great solution as reuse space that was ready existent.
All edgearch’s team want take the occasion to thank the jury of Architecture Masterprize AMP and all the participants for the special mention received.
