We believe support is an important component of the care and recovery of patients and their families. Several public programs have been made available to support individuals throughout all aspects of their hospitalized experience.

Designed by edgearch as a prototype project for the Specialist Medical Centers development programme of the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia, the Cardiology facility building has been designed to achieve national benchmarks in quality care, delivering individualized, research-based care aimed at lowering people’s risk for cardiovascular disease and its complications as well as providing a wide spectrum of services from preventive cardiology care to treatment of advanced coronary artery disease, valvular disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and heart transplantation.

When it comes to heading off cardiovascular disease for the long haul – particularly in people at increased risk – “drive-by prevention” isn’t enough. The building has been designed to offer patients, since their first visit, a comprehensive overview of the team of specialists as preventive cardiologists, a nutritionist, and an exercise physiologist. During that visit, personnels identify any concerns, and decide if any testing is appropriate, and develop a personalized plan.
